Just one more day!

So, as I'm sat here, the race has been officially over for an hour. I'll wait for the official news as where Missi has come. 

When I woke up this morning I could only see three masts over at the marina! I thought LMAX had perhaps gone to get its decals redone. But where was the other boat? I was right, LMAX had set out at about midnight but had then run aground! GB was sent to give assistance! - how embarrassing?! (Thankfully there were no injuries.)

So today I took the metro to Ipaneepa Beach - the next door cousin to Copacabana. Certainly a different feel and more shops. More expensive shops! At least several jewellers. Will definitely have to take Ali there. 

Then back to the hotel to chill out. Not before I tried to buy Ali some shower gel. I'm convinced Brazillians don't use the stuff. More exploring tomorrow. Oh, and yes, the laundry was waiting in my room when I got back too - result!

Now Clipper is saying Missi is due in between 1000 and 1300. Can't wait!
