Anyone pack some oars?!!

How frustrating is this? With less than 60 NMs to the corridor the back-markers seemed to have hit the Doldrums early. With Clipper's MetMan saying these conditions may persist for another 24-48hrs, it doesn't bode well for a timely hug and snog with my new fiancee, Ali!

Once they hit the Green Line they can motor through the calm and head for fresher winds further south. - Then it's, "Watch out Rio! - here we come!"
(Did any of the crew think to pack oars or paddles?!!)
