MP Doing Well

So, it's nearly the weekend.

It's nearly Autumn.

It's nearly Christmas!

It's the same every year - the kids go back to school after the Summer break and, as if a switch is thrown, it feels like Autumn. I'm sat here with a jumper on!

The nights are drawing in, it's getting colder and the roads are busy in the morning with school-runners.

BUT IT'S ONLY THE 3RD OF SEPTEMBER!

So what has today been like? The fleet are making good progress with both groups getting a bit closer to each other. (Although MP is 119 NM away from the leader (LMAX)) And MP is having to fight hard to keep its position (7th at the moment.)

Today I've been at the Joint Air Ambulance Clinical Governance Day at Newbury - amazed that you can still keep tabs on the boats' position all those miles away.

Steve and Lorraine popped an engagement card through the door - When I popped over to say, "thanks", I asked Lorraine how they know. "Saw it in the paper!" - Geeze!

Then of course she mentioned that John G had sent an email out to all the neighbourhood watch Guys that'd it be good to have an engagement party! Well, would be rude not to!

Final look at the fleet's position for today.

Mission Performance (CV31) is 7th at the moment as they head to Cape Finisterre - before heading down the Spanish and Portuguese coast, in search of the Portuguese Trades!
